Both Grelle and Ronald, and Sebastian want to capture Undertaker for their own reasons; this results in an intense battle where both sides fail to capture Undertaker.

As a result, Sebastian attacks Undertaker, falling into a trap. Ciel is thrown off the upper-level balcony, and as Sebastian attempts to rescue him, he is run through with Undertaker's scythe. Ciel then orders Sebastian to talk to other people who had been deceived by Maurice in the past and thoroughly investigate Maurice's activity patterns.

Later that day, he meets Joanne Harcourt in the library. In the chapel, Harcourt sobbingly tells Sebastian about how Maurice deceived him before.

McMillan tells Ciel to get ready at once for the victory boat parade.
